Hello Christian Freepers -
I am pinging you back to this thread Christian prayer for President Obama, because you expressed interest in doing so.
Im asking/begging Christians to hold prayer meetings in their homes as many times per week that they can handle, so a holy restoration of Christian living will come per 2 Chronicles 7:14 which says:
#1 WE humble ourselves, pray, seek Gods face, turn from sin
#2 GOD heals the USA
Weve been trying to do #2 with politics, and weve been skipping #1.
Lets do #1, so we GET #2 from the LORD. The LORD did it for Ninevah at Jonahs preaching, and turned his wrath from Ahab, how much more for us?
Evil doesnt have a chance. Lets seek the LORD.

**Please** let me know if I can add you to the Holy Restoration ping list.
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. - James 1:22
2) Nevertheless, I think it is quite clear from Scripture that we are to pray for our enemies. Barack Hussein Soetoro 0dinga Whatever 0bama is certainly an enemy. I, for my part, pray for his repentance and conversion.
thanks
put me on list. I can also drop out later if I choose.
I don't think it works like that. For my part I do pray for President Obama in my morning prayers when I think about it. God can perform miracles and intervene when He wants to. However in many cases God just lets the natural laws run their course. I see little to no correlation between Christian prayers and God deciding to make Christians' life any less physically painful. In fact scripture tells us that we will not have it easy on this Earth as a Christian.
I do believe we should pray for Christ to intervene. After all we have nowhere else to go. I have also personally witnessed miracles performed by Christ. So it DOES happen.
