This is what happens when you pick the electable guy.
Remind me never to get you angry. :)
I thought the title was referring to “a la carte” cable channel choice (if we ever get it), instead of the present “bundle” system; then I saw nothing about that in the excerpt.
“Remind me never to get you angry. :)”
LOL. Hey, we have been intensely trying to get our party back from the liberals for a decade and every time we get the same one finger salute.
That’s why I said it is time for a “reign of terror” in the gOP because these people are swindlers. NO DECENT PERSON of moral character would resist promulgating a rule requiring a run-off primary in each state where the front-runner earns less than 51%.
Yet these hijacking scoundrels play the same rhetorical games as the Democrats they ardently appease and demonize the MAJORITY of this party for wanting simple fairness.
I’m ready to play Robespierre here, storm the damned Bastille and pull out the metaphoric guillotines here.
This country is #$%^&* because of these people. I’ll open the escrow and let’s start raising donations. Let’s start with Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus.
I have been hearing about à la carte since 1986. It never happens. In fact, it is so far down the list of priorities it's not funny.
However, 'Cable' should be brought to bear and offer what their customers want. A menu. All of their "On Demand" services are designed around this concept...except the actual offered packages. It would be financially ruinous for them to do so. Ergo, they will not...IMHO.
Other than that, I have no strong feelings about it one way or the other.

It was recently added to the Dish lineup; Channel 212.
But it's not as good as Beck's old show on Fox.
That I used to watch on occasion. Beck doesn't really 'float my boat'.
While I am not a big Fox fan anymore, I did turn to them after the debates. It was the one channel where you could hear a less liberal spin on the debate. The focus groups were quite entertaining.
But election night, the TV was muted. Fox played a game with calling states so that the Electoral count was always tied or nearly always tied to keep viewers tuned in. Not calling TX for Romney until later so that they could get enough votes for Obama to keep that count tied was an example. I have no idea what other channels did.
Thankfully, this site was repaired in time to support commentary here.
It's over. There's no hope. We're going to crash. That's the reality. Our government has turned its' back on God, and God, the source of all blessings, has removed his hand from our government.
