Yup and it’s appropriate for any other requests from anyone...including Salvation Army, Police orgs, fire orgs, you name it.... Not even my diocese will get money this year...not until our Bishop starts calling “catholics” for Obozo out.

I agree with you on all of the above except the Salvation Army. Years ago during the Korean war the SA gave doughnuts and coffee free of charge to service men coming off the line, the Red Cross charged them or made them sign IOU's. I have heard the exact same thing from others and men that served during WWII.

I especially agree with you about the Bishops. I refuse to give a dime to the diocese of Richmond (Bishop DiLorenzo) Until he makes a drastic change to his attitude.

Maybe the Red Cross will ask for the Democrat registration card before they help someone soon?

I agree with you. The Salvation Army is the one organization you want in case of a problem.

They served hot donuts and coffee to our troops that were sitting on the front line, just a few hundred yards from the German Army. For free.

I’ve worked directly with them in disasters and they are absolutely awe inspiring.

Di Lorenzo is my bish, too...and a total disappointment. When he first came in, I had such high hopes for him to be a conservative, Church tenets upholding, no nonsense kind of Shepherd.
OK, maybe Salvtn Army will me off the list...but Red Cross who pays their President $450K a year is on it big time.
