Coach, you're full of WKRP. You accuse Evangelicals of hating Romney. Please give us your proof. Where is a statement from an Evangelical: "I didn't vote for Romney because I hate him"? I don't see your statistics that polled 14-million Evangelicals and concluded that all 14-million hated Romney. Rather, I think you're part of the FREEPATANTRUM in which you blame everyone because the election didn't fall our way. So you went to the Democrat Socialist-Liberal method: blame that damned Christians.

I am an Evangelical. As much as JR didn't want me to, I voted for Romney because I hate and despise everything that the formal Democrat monolith stands for; and I don't care for their president, either.

But I think millions of Christians decided that they simply could not support a man they--we--consider is part of a cult that teaches a false doctrine that we consider heinous and even blasphemous.

Now you can argue all day whether our theology is correct. You would be arguing with a Yankees fan, asking them to support the Red Sox. (A fate worse than ipecac.)

We're not afraid of you, your criticism, or the wrath of the Democrats. Christians have for centuries faced actual death, not censure or other five-yard penalties, in the arenas, back allies and public streets of the world.

You think criticism is going to change the minds of those Christians who didn't vote for Romney? That kind of thinking is worthy of Les Nessman.

I am an evangelical with heavy libertarian leanings. I vote in OH when I vote.

I did NOT vote for Romney because he spent 95% of his conservative career working against our interests and for the enemy. His nomination was a slap in my face and I took it that way.

I and others including JimRob warned the GOP that there would be hell to pay if Romney was selected. Well I guess they figured they could win without us.

Oops.

But I guess that’s our fault because the GOP steamrollered us and expected us to line up like good little soldiers.
