#1 Cancel your cable. You’d only be supporting the MSM that lied and defended Obama to the tooth and help secure his re-election. I cancelled my cable and saved $1000 from going to Hollywood and the MSM.
#2 Get some business card printed up that say “Obama’s government has taken all of my money and I am unable to leave you a tip. You might try calling the White House at: (phone number) and ask Obama for your tip.” Leave this on the table whenever you go out to eat at restaurants or places where tips are customarily given.
#3 Before hiring anyone to do work on: your car, lawn, house,etc. Ask them who they voted for if they either won’t tell youor say Obama, tell them “Sorry I cannot trust your jugdment when it comes toimportant matters, how could i trust your judgement when it comes to my car...”
I already do some of those things out of necessity. I do however savor my conscious decision to boycott UAW made vehicles and with one exception, I have done so for the last 20 years.

Disagree. If you go out to eat, proudly spout off about how Obama is a disaster for the nation, etc. THEN tip like 50 percent.
I promise you that whenever you go out, you WILL make an impression.

Buy local - support mom and pop, family owned businesses when you can. Hopefully owned by conservatives. Avoid chain stores, restaurants unless you have no other option. Big business will become an extension of government in some cases, requiring registration. If you use a credit or debit card, somewhere your purchases are being put into a database.
Categorize your purchases. Is the purchase a want or is it a need?
Will it help keep you alive when the SHTF? Will the purchase cut your dependence on the system in case the system fails? Remember to keep it simple. If you plan on complex systems for heating, cooling, water supply, food; can you keep them running without spare parts or technical knowledge?

The article is too complicated. “Going Galt” will not be understood. How about we just call it what it is, economic boycott.
Save money, you’re going to need it anyway. Reduce your expenditures across the board and increase your savings.
‘Order out’ your stocks, bonds, gold, silver. Do not let it get hypothicated. It’s safer in your hands then the brokerage firm. Even your safe deposit box may not be safe enough.
Buy as much of your food as possible at local markets and from local livestock growers to avoid paying taxes.

This is just wrong. If you can afford to go out for dinner you can afford a tip. Your waitperson is working, just like you, they have a job and are doing it.
You want to punish the Liberal elite, stop going to movies, Buy Ford instead of GM or Chrysler, don't contribute to PBS and NPR. But don't take it out on someone that is working.

I have a 22 and 23 yr old - both with 4 yr degrees and they live in the room they grew up in....neither can find sustainable work. My wife has a Masters and makes $12.50/ an hour.

The problem with hastening our demise is,With Obama at the Helm in a Collapse what form do you think he will remake our Government? Fact is, there have been MANY people over the past few Years who have written that Collapse of the United States Of America as we Know it,IS Obamas Goal. I agree a Collapse, not a Pleasant experience we are going to face,but if we had A Leader who Believed in the Constitution the Rebuilding would at least give the country a Chance.
