I know! My family came over from Kent England in 1620 and settled in Scituate. We have many landmarks named after them in that area.
Have you read “Albion’s Seed: Four British Folkways in America”? I’ve been reading it over the past couple of years, picking it up from time to time.It is so interesting, and explains a lot about why different areas of the country, even though folks mostly came from England, are so different from each other.
Well, to say I was disappointed in the outcome is a huge understatement. I just do not understand how voters could have been so stupid as to have given that idiot a second term. And at the same time they say Sarah Palin is stupid! Just amazing.
