Polls in some Eastern states wont close until 6:00 PM. So although there may be little if any official word as to how Mitt Romney is doing, Coach is Right will attempt to provide some timely information from news sites and blogs around the web.
1.) From Hot Air: Romney LEADS early voting in Ohio! Hot Air reports that Gannet apparently posted data from the state government on its site at 2:00 AM Tuesday morning. (1) It is a post which has since been taken down from the site and replaced with Early voting not yet counted in Ohio. IF the info was TRUE, Romney leads early vote by some...

The site now says the following:
A Cincinnati.com front-page link to a chart with dummy data, created as a design template for election results, was inadvertently posted early Tuesday morning.
It purported to show early voting totals in Ohio counties. However, no votes have been counted yet by law counting doesn't start until the polls close.
Cincinnati.com regrets the error.

I saw the web page that was pulled by Gannet before they pulled it, and it was not credible. It had Romney leading in Cleveland by 14,000 votes. Surrrrrrre.
Polls in Michigan don't close until 8:00 PM.
Polls close in CT at 8pm.
Polls in PA don’t close until 8:00 PM EST, and based on the line at the firehouse across the street, I suspect we will not have official numbers from PA until well past 10:00 PM EST. The law here is that if you’re in line at 8:00, whether inside or outside the building, you will vote (and there is no early voting in this state.)
The Republican National Committee itself cannot be involved in any such effort.(voter fraud investigation) In 1982, when faced with a lawsuit from the Democratic Party for violating the Voting Rights Act in its efforts to thwart election fraud, the RNC signed a consent decree voluntarily abjuring from such efforts. The decree will be not be reviewed until 2017. (9)
I dont know for certain, but Id be willing to bet the Republican Party simply ROLLED OVER rather than contest the decision. After all, such cowardice has been the hallmark of the Party for a very, very long time. As a result of this incredible 35 year agreement by the Party to have its hands tied, the investigation of Dem voter fraud falls to outside groups
GOOD GAWD
I don’t actually know any 6 PM. I thought 7:30 was the earliest.
Polls in Kentucky close at 6:00 PM (opened at 6:00 AM). No booze can be sold until the polls close and we ain’t waitin’ until 7:30! LOL!
Virginia polls opened at 6:00am this morning, and will close at 7:00pm. Maryland opened at 7:00 and will close at 8:00.
My local radio station in WA State, is reporting that an apology had been issued for an early report of Romney being ahead in Cincinnati, that the report was just a projection, however the Romney lead seems to be holding.
If Romney is ahead in Cincinnati, the election is over.
Good law.
My local station in WA State is reporting that Romney had a lead in Cincinnati. It is a CBS news station.

Presumably in Kentucky that prohibition doesn’t include bourbon?
“Polls close in CT at 8pm.”
Sorry. I was thinking in terms of my own Central Time zone in Ky. Should have been 7:00 PM Eastern.
Keep in mind, too, that Louisville (largest city) and the western half of Kentucky are in the Central time zone, so their polls close at 7pm eastern, 6 central.
Indiana polls close at 6 PM. I believe that they also do in Kentucky as well.
