How did you guys weather the storm. I’m from Atlantic county but further inland, living in VA now.
Voted in Sussex county, pretty normal, got my vote in for Romney, Kryllos and Garrett.
We had a huge tree fall and kill our deck, but that is minor compared to others. Atlantic City, Ventnor, Margate & Longport & Ocean City are a mess. Many cannot go back to their homes. The flooding was beyond anything we have ever seen. If you ride thru there, there is furniture and carpet on every curb. The sand on the streets from the flooding is being plowed like snow. My sister lost everything - the water was over the mattress on her bed. It is still a mess, but people are pulling together and digging out. God is still good, even in disaster!
No major problems here in Hammonton - AC Electric kept the power on, and we were fine.....
