Actually, Melissa Joan Hart is not nearly as alone as one might imagine. There are at least two or three other people in that phone booth that Hollywood Republicans meet in.
There is a sort of reverse “Hollywood black list” being maintained by the money people on the Left Coast. But they still are not 100% effective.

A friend of mine and I were eating in Cambridge MASS at a Duncan donut shop about 20 years ago. The guy beside us was reading from a newspaper where the section headline was: "Boston Republicans in a Squabble". I remarked to my friend that that was certainly a shame. Those were two of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet! :)
