Husband and daughter (14) left several hours ago to drive 3+ hours from Albany NY area to Manchester for Romney. Husband was debating about going and daughter said YOLO!! You only live once. I would have gone, but have a back that can't take that long of a car ride. Is anyone else attending or will there be a thread here on FR?
It’s not the final. Romney will be in Ohio tomorrow!
I’m going if I can finish up some work here (been sidetracked all day reading political news) :)...
I have 4 tix.
Yes, it ain’t the “final”; Romney has rallies in Cleveland and Pittsburgh tomorrow, Election Day.
Sorry - I should have never assumed that Manchester is the final stop on the Quest. Anyway if anyone else goes it would be great to hear first hand ...
Is there a live feed or is it going to be carried by cspan ,,,, anyone know ???
It is listed as being on cspan at 11 pm Eastern time
Thanks ,,,,
I played hooky from work this afternoon and went over to the Patriot Center (George Mason U’s basketball venue) to see Mitt and Ann, along with Gov. Bob McDonnell (my college classmate), once and future Sen. George Allen, Rep. Frank Wolf (VA10), soon to be Reps. Chris Perkins (VA11) and Patrick Murray (VA8) and Delegates (state legislators) Tim Hugo and Jim Lemunyon.
Great event put together on very short notice; arena was essentially packed, and another 5,000 people without tickets listened to the speeches on loud speakers set up outside.
If you can get to the NH venue, go.
My wife and I went and it was great! The Verizon Center was packed (I estimate 20,000) and Gov. Romney reported that thousands were turned away (I assume for Fire Code regulations). The evening was so upbeat. The energy was fantastic and positive. People were there for love of country, not revenge. NH will go Romney. My wife and I will be there when the polls open at 0600 to vote. I, and I know many others, have prayed for this national nightmare to end. I believe God will answer our prayers tomorrow.
I’m sorry. I didn’t mean that as a dig at your error. Just wanted to inform that he wasn’t stopping his campaign until election day.
