I think I read it was supposed to be the Washington Times.
I have a lot of respect for that man and his opinions.
Affirmative action flag officers were excluded from this list. Only those who actually earned their stars are on it.
Sadly, there are many of those. Within the army at least, the policy there WILL BE a minimum of the right groups selected for promotion and just as importantly, selected for schools and command.
I was afraid of that. Whose minds will this ad change? Washington DC is almost totally blue and liberal, full of government employees, lobbyists, political fat cats and their families and gazillions of minorities.
The ad should have run in one northeastern city, one midwestern city and one western city as determined by knowledgeble political advertising experts.
I'm sure this list of retired brass could afford the three ads.
Again, what earthly good is placing this ad in the DC enclave?

I know Ron as well. A more honorable man you would be hard-pressed to find.
I refuse to address “COLON” POWELL as a General! He has proven himself to be an “Affirmative Action Fraud” who buttkissed his way up the food chain!
These 160 plus Real Military Retired Warriors know who Obama HUSSEIN really is! an Enemy of America!

1. Powell has always been a politician..He was in the White House as a LTC.
2. I am not suprised to see Tommy Franks on the list, but Hugh Shelton does suprise me. He is a big North Carolina lefty.

There is another list with about half a dozen names of those who are endorsing Obama.
The usual suspects. Colin Powell. Weasel-y Clark. Joe Sestak, the big big Lib ex-congressman from Philly. And someone described as “Admiral Gutter, the biggest JAG in the Navy”.
Indeed. I was disappointed to see the list comprised of all retired Generals and Admirals. A huge thing, no doubt. But it would carry 10,000 times more weight with a dozen or more active duty Generals.
This list is incomplete as you will note there are several parts of the alphabet missing between bottom and top of each column. The original list has 400 names. There are corrections on this list. John Borling was USMC on the first list but he is USAF and was a POW for seven (7) years.
Obama is a Traitor,a Usurper and a Fraud. Under the UCMJ Obama is also a SPY. “There is NO ‘President’ Obama”.
