I have seen that. In fairness, I do not know for certain that the doctor knew the extent of the patient's alcohol use, but believe me, one look at his face and manner should have been enough to set off an alarm somewhere.

Situations like that are pharmacists have a right NOT to fill a prescription if they think it will endanger the health of the patient.
