Why would leakers leak such explosive information to outfits that weren't going to expose it?
Sounds to me like someone at CIA wasn't too thrilled to have their colleagues sacrificed to the 0 reelection effort and wanted a little of their own back.
The outfits that received the information would certainly want to corroborate the authenticity of the emails before going public.

He attributes this news to Newt Gingrich's statement of last night. He said he's reporting on it tonight, because they (The Blaze) know it to be true.
He also said that one of the Libyan suspects has been transferred to Tunisia, but we've (U.S.) has lost contact with him. Unbelievable.

The issue I have with this whole story is I don’t believe an order to stand down would be in email format. It would likely begin with a verbal order to a ranking officer in the presence of Obama, followed with flash electronic traffic to the commands involved. Emails explaining the issue might have been sent to various federal agencies, but I don’t believe the actual orders could be obtainable by anyone outside the chain of command. Which means of course, the lying bastards could still have some wiggle room.
