From what I understand, it depends how long they have been in the country. The first or second generation are more liberal, but the third and fourth generation tend to lean towards Republican.

Actually, it depends on if they are Protestant, or Catholic.

Bush got 56% of the Protestant Hispanic vote in 2004, and McCain/Palin got 48% of the Hispanic Protestant vote against Obama.

The Catholic Hispanic vote for republicans was about 31% both times.

amazing how many here still cling to this crap disproven over and over

like how many times before they quit believing their own hype

latinos as a rule vote as a minority for preference as a perceived non white minority with grievance of discrimination as such and against the white-anglo predominate culture that they see as the oppressor or they just come for a paycheck and take the advantage presented or they get played or all of the above

they came here to largely do just that in recent years

assimilation is puro Uncle Tomas behavior to them now with a few exceptions..older Cubans and others that fled commies or wealth grabbers or those latino sub cultures seen as "white"
