The slogan's not new (the first part), but the idea of this image popped in my head randomly, so I made it...
How about Give Mitt the Job
Sack Barack
I can remember walking in to my first day of first grade at Wilson School proudly wearing a large “I Like Ike” button.
Yo Mama if you think I'm votin' for Obama.
Yo mamma is so fat she is the first lady
I recall a Carter campaign button:
“Grits and Fritz Give Me the Sh1tz”
I've come shust now to tells you how,
I goes mit regimentals,
To schlauch dem voes of Liberty,
Like dem old Continentals,
Vot fights mit England long ago,
To save der Yankee Eagle;
Und now I gets my sojer clothes;
I'm going to fight mit Sigel.
Ven I comes from der Deutsche Countree,
I vorks somedimes at baking;
Den I keeps a lager beer saloon,
Und den I goes shoe-making;
But now I was a sojer been
To save der Yankee Eagle,
To schlauch dem tam secession volks,
I goes to fight mit Sigel.
I gets ein tam big rifle guns,
Und puts him to mine shoulder,
Den march so bold like a big jackhorse,
Und may been someding bolder;
I goes off mit de volunteers
To save der Yankee Eagle;
To give dem Rebel vellers fits.
I goes to fight mit Sigel.
You might want to write a parody song (of a parody song) called "I Goes To Vote Mitt Romney" also to the tune of "The Girl I Left Behind Me." Knowing you the idea is already germinating inside your brain cells. Could be a popular campaign song!
“Mittsie” to the tune of “Dixie” would be more memorable, lol.
Not exactly a PC song. Would cause too many problems.
Oh, come on, it’d be teh awesomeness ... Everybody sing along: “I think I’ll vote for Mittsie, Hooray! Hooray! For Mitt’s my man, I’ll make my stand to live and die for Mittsie.”
Much more compelling than that Hessian ditty, don’t you think?
Yeah, I can already picture the MSM ripping into a Mitt campaign song to the tune of Dixie. Why don’t you wait until Charles works his magic?
Thirty years ago Ronald Reagan was President. We had Steve Jobs, Johnny Cash, and Bob Hope. Now Barack Hussein Obama is ‘resident. We have no Jobs, no Cash, and no Hope!
Weeyull, maybe referencing petty regionalist sentiment set to song, pertaining to the CIVIL WAR might not be the optimal approach to winning electoral votes in the south or even nationally ... Ya thaink?
“The Girl I Left Behind Me” is more a cavalry song than a strictly Civil War song. Also the words of a “I Goes to Vote Mitt Romney” would have CURRENT not Civil War references.
Remember the old bumper sticker of the pregnant colored girl with the caption “I WENT ALL THE WAY WIF LBJ!”
Then it was used again with “NIXON’S THE ONE!”
I’ve got a bunch of buttons with “Nixon - Now more than ever”. (My old man had them). The last 3.5 years I’ve been tempted to wear one!
My suggestion for a bumper sticker is:
Re-Elect Obama
Mulligans - Not just for golf.
... and the words to “I Think I’ll Vote For Mittsie” would have current not Civil War references as well.
Is reminding the electorate of Mitt Romney’s Massachussetts era advisable, given the liberal baggage that comes along with it? Seems that might muddy the waters a tad, as far as packaging Romney as standing in opposition to certain Obama administration efforts.
Is suppressing turnout in two battleground states, among historically literate voters at least, a good thing? Want to try to make the EV tally work without NC and VA?
MIT is it?
Shhh...I dont think it will work.
Since Newsweek accused him of being a wimp... like anyone could be more of a girly man than Obama... It might be a hard sell but I think we could fight back with:
Mit’s got grit
Obama’s a twit
I was born the day before my Dad went to the polls to vote for Ike. I’m assuming Mom did not make the trip...
