I thought romney had some desire to win... he apparently does not. To win at anything you do not give your opponent any quarter, you focus on differential advantages and exploit them, you are relentless.

Exactly. I have NEVER heard a single positive word from the rats about Romney. Romney's problem is that he is a coward. He is scared to death he might offend somebody. He is scared to death of the Democrat newsrooms. This is why Romney has spent his life as a flip-flopping, thoroughly unprincipled weakling.
In 1994 Romney got off to an early lead in his race for the Senate against Teddy Kennedy. I remember following the race closely. By the time the debates were over and Romney was whimpering for the Boston Globe to please please like him, he was more gay-friendly, abortion-friendly, and environment-friendly than Ted Kennedy! Naturally, Romney proceeded to lose in a landslide.
Can America survive this choice between an African communist and a cowardly weakling who has absolutely no ability or willingness to get tough, go for the throat, kick some ass - - or even mildly offend his opponent?? How about dabbling in sarcasm and wit once in awhile? Maybe even say something mean (oh, Heaven forfend!)? I honestly don't know which of these two morons will be worse for America for the next four years.

Romney was Obama’s CHOSEN opponent. That is why the media began to shape the public perception he was the only one who could beat Obama back early last year.
He was chosen to “lose” to Obama, to create the illusion we had a choice in this election. Romney will take a dive and hit the mat, he was chosen for one purpose only - to create an illusion and keep the masses placated for a while longer.
Doesn’t anyone question why Romney was ruthless in attacking and destroying every conservative running in the primaries - but now that he’s the “nominee” he’s tossing softballs at Obama?
