Ladies and gentlemen, I regret to tell you that we have been misinformed. The most important news of the day is not the attacks on our embassies in Egypt and Libya, or the death of Ambassador Christopher Stevens. Neither is it the somewhat tepid response of President Obama and his State Department. We need to instead, change our focus to Mitt Romney and how he is politicizing the attacks by daring to question the current administration and their reaction and response to the attacks.
In case you aren't familiar with sarcasm, that's what you just read. It is the only way I can properly process the insanity I am seeing in the media. At a time when we should be talking about the lunacy that is going on in the Middle East, the media deems it more important to accuse Mitt Romney of attacking President Obama unfairly. When we should be focused on how much of a failure President Obama's foreign policy has been, the media would rather talk about how Mitt Romney is unprepared on foreign policy and ill-suited to be President.
Until now, the focus of the presidential election has been on the economy. It's a clear fact that Obama has failed to live up to the hype, hope, and change he promised. The economy is not recovering and shows little signs of changing course. With the attacks on our embassies in Egypt and Libya, the focus of the campaign has swiftly changed to foreign policy. What Mitt Romney has done is to highlight just how ludicrous it was for our embassy to put out such an asinine statement in response to the attacks. The statement basically apologized for a film, produced by a private citizen of the United States, that showed Muhammad in a less than favorable light. The statement didn't even condemn the attacks. It was hours later before the statement was removed from the embassy website and even longer before Secretary of State Hillary Clinton or President Obama made an appearance and started walking back their support for the statement.
All the while, Mitt Romney is being accused of attacking President Obama unfairly. Some of the headlines we have seen read as follows, taken from a Fox News video I found on Hot Air.
Romney's Libya Response Fuels Foreign Policy Doubts
Romney has few GOP echoes in criticism
Romney breaks tradition by criticizing Obama on Egypt, Libya attacks
Blasting Obama on Libya and Egpyt, Romney accused of opportunism
Do you see what my complaint is? The same people who would laud President Obama for his foreign policy "successes" are blasting Mitt Romney for his supposed failures and shortcomings. Instead of asking why the Egyptian and Libyan governments allowed these attacks to happen and failed to protect our citizens, they would rather talk about how this is a public relations debacle for Mitt Romney. Instead of questioning why Christopher Stevens was missing for 5 hours, his body dragged through the streets and not returned for 12 hours, they insist it is more important to examine the statement given by Mitt Romney with a fine-tooth comb. The media has questioned everything about the statement, including Romney's tone and his timing for the statement. And they think we are imagining things when we accuse the media of bias? I am beyond disgusted by show of ignorance and bias in the media.

The.headlines should be about the amount of American blood on Obama's hands.
From the handcuffing of our troops through his perverse Rules of Engagement directives, to supporting Muslim brotherhood takeovers of Egypt and Libya, to blowing the secrecy of Seals Team 6 because he had to preen about personally taking out Osama, to inciting the Islamic masses by bragging about how he personally took out Osama, to not preparing our Embassies for the expected September 11th festivities ... This President has been a complete disaster.
It is one thing to be incompetent but to know it. But to be incompetent and to surround yourself with incompetents and to pretend you are a remarkable genius is absolute folly... This happens to Nations that forget God. As a Nation we need to repent and pray for God fearing leaders.
