If you have lead, you can get gold if you must..
Don’t see gold of much concern at that point, though.
Better to concern with dies, bullets, powder, shells and primers, IMHO.
You can’t eat gold. In a situation like that you’ll need useful things to trade, butane, MRE’s, canned goods, medicines etc
and you better be prepared to defend your freehold.
Can you eat those things ? Balance in all things in life .
In other words have good quality items besides reloading supplies like good quality boots/shoes, food/water, heat/light, warm clothes that are well made.
These will do more to aid your life than just having an ammo fort in the basement but the ammo fort will be useful as well.
