I'm drinking coffee right now and I bet quite a few of you reading this are also sipping the beloved brew.

Sitting out on the patio by the Bocce Court last night around 6:00 and New England Coffee down the street started roasting the beans. Nice night.

I LOVE it but stopping it 20 yrs ago cured my persistent heartburn. If I take omeprazole I can drink it, but likely not good long term for the bones.
Enjoy, coffee fans!

The Turks used Coffee as a drug to hype up the troops before a battle like the Viet Cong used marijuana before battle. Right now Vietnam is the world's top coffee producer. Oh, and they are NOT using communist methods to produce it.

Yup!
French Roast.
I had seen something many years back about coffee, the fact that it originated in the Ethiopian area. They said that at that time (and maybe still) it was a crime punishable by death to try to or actually smuggle out any live, unroasted coffee beans.
They have most of the only wild varieties of coffee on the planet and don’t want to let them out.

I’ve always loved the smell of coffee, but as for drinking it... I cannot get past the bitterness, no matter how much cream or sugar I add. Even in coffee ice cream, I react poorly to it.
Oddly enough, however, I like Kahlua. I’m thinking the alcohol neutralizes or offsets whatever’s causing the bitterness I hate so much,
