Wuhl, yuh, uhuh, ah reckon so. That's why men who build their own wind turbines (on trailer hubs--alternators and all) store energy in batteries and use controllers and rectifiers like the Midnite Classic and Clipper (made for wind turbines). And they live in places like mine, where winds stay mostly high in winter.
Have fun. Enjoy the slide. Enjoy watching the debt-ridden commie-NIMBYs (like recent neighbors from NY, NJ and the like) move back to the cities after losing their government incomes and being foreclosed. Won't be anyone left in the country but real engineers (PEs) and their tinkering redneck friends (like myself).

I admire DIY wind generators.
I am tired of paying GE twice. Once for the wind generators, twice for the quick start combustion turbines to back up the first.
Hey, want a wind generator potential study? GE will do one for you.. ERCOT paid them.
