We MUST get control of the Senate. The best charts (that I have found) with races up for grabs etc are here.

You are exactly right.
There is no rational argument as to why Obama's re-election would be better for America (or even equally good) than would be Obama's defeat by Mitt Romney.
Those who counsel despair, who counsel indifference, or who do nothing but disparage Mitt Romney, are working against the interests of the United States of America.
darn right its up to the people, they just cannot get it past their ideology that no matter how hard they try America will never accept obamacare.
Yes, the answer to our nation's problems is to elect a Republican more dishonest and with a more liberal record than George W. Bush! We're going to advance conservatism by voting for a liberal!
No, liberalism, not conservatism, is advanced by Republicans like Mitt Romney. It's insanity to think Romney won't sellout conservatives on key issues and give us more judges like David Souter and John Roberts. When that happens, Republicans will lose control of Congress, a Democrat ultimately takes back the White House and we end up in the same position in 2016 or 2020 we were in in 2008.
Eight to 12 more years of the country drifting to the left is what may destroy it. That guaranteed to happen if Romney is elected.
Haven’t you suckers figured this game out yet? We give and give and work and work and elect a majority Republican congress. Then when it comes time to vote to repeal Obamacare (assuming somehow it doesn’t mysteriously die in committee) just enough Republicans switch sides and it fail by one vote.
All the other republicans get to tell their their voters how this means we have to give even more money, and work even harder to get even more Republicans into congress.
Can anyone think of an example of an important law like ObamaCare being repealed in the modern era, either by Congress or the courts?
America spoke in 2008. They spoke gibberish, but that's now the law. What is left to argue about? Romney is better than Obama, but that's like saying it's better to drive 50 miles per hour towards the cliff than 75 miles per hour. I think that's the best we can hope for: a little more time to save what we can.
Vote for Romney to give us a little more time, because that's all we're going to get.
