“No true Scotsman” is a logical fallacy. It is an attempt to avoid being associated with a disreputable or despicable act by claiming that “no true” (fill in the blank) would behave in such a manner (“no true” Scotsman, “no true” Islamic, “no true” Christian, etc).

I guess that would include “no true” Scotsman would attend Idi Amin ( ^8 }
