The Daily Matt: Obama's Fraudulent Chart
The Daily Matt ^ | May 30, 2012 | Matt Braynard

Posted on 06/01/2012 12:10:42 PM PDT by 92nina

The Obama campaign has been running the below ad all over the internet. When I saw it, something about it caught my eye.

Upon closer inspection, I discovered what it was. The Y-axis distance from 0 to -200,000 jobs is 15 pixels, but the distance from 0 to +200,000 is 20 pixels.

What the Obama campaign has done – in a very subtle way – is to visually and fraudulently inflate their job creation record by a third.

And they thought we were too stupid to notice.

“Chocolate rations have been increased from thirty grams to twenty grams.”

Could someone with computer graphics savvy scale it properly so we can see the distortion?

The Obama quote is the biggest distortion.

He doesn’t care about the American workers. It is only the Union workers (worldwide) Comrade Obamao is concerned about.

It has been a long time since I saw that quotation from George Orwell’s 1984.

Close! only off by 30 years. Never knew my big brother was black.

I think you missed the biggest blatant lie of all. The curve they fit to the data. That curve they drew on the data with the arrow pointing in an upward trend is a lie. all the data that is above zero is basically a flat line...and when corrected for the pixel fraud you point out, it becomes a flat line pretty damn close to zero.

Can you re-create the graph with the proper sizes?
I’d like to see the actual “curve”.
