You make $20 grand a year are spending $36 grand a year and you owe $145 grand.

The answer is ugly.
Overall, the world is in financial depression and is overpopulated, chaos rules the streets. No politician is going to be elected that can save us. Only God has the answers and I suspect ‘The Second Coming’ will soon be upon us.

We don't have a "pump out the crap" option in this election.
I think Lewis Black explained it best. The American election is a choice between 2 large heavy pails of the diarrhea. Both pails have an unbearable stench and look about them. Whichever pail is chosen will be with you every day for the next for years, from the moment you awaken, it’s in your bedroom, your closet and the shower. It’s in your refrigerator and stove and dishwasher. It’s in your car, your office, the store. It spends time with you breakfast, lunch and dinner. It goes out for drinks, movies, even a walk in the woods. Every day, every hour for the next 4 years. YOUR JOB, as a voter is to choose which of these 2 pails will be less foul and offensive than the other pail 4 years from now.
