Here is your chance to be the next “Breitbart.” PoiltiJim’s crack staff of researchers and writers simply doesn’t have the time to follow the leads on this story, but should you desire to out-Woodward Bernstein (sans the possible lies and criminal journalism) have at it.
There is concerted effort underway to infiltrate the Tea Party and conservative movements with fake trouble makers. It was well documented in 2010 by GulagBound discussing Neal Rauhauser’s Twittergate scandal, and a simple Google search will show the media has been working overtime to blur Occupy and the Tea Party movements. The Left has been unsuccessful at pinning the crimes against Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and even Norwegian killer Now it turns out Dopers are posing as Gingrich supporters and OWS types as Tea Partiers? “The Big Red One” ping (scene shot in the inn in Belgium, post-Bulge). Thanks rightjb.
That picture simply MUST be your pinglist picture from now on.
But, even so, that just shows that we are not a monolithic group like the media wants to paint us.
We still have a silver bullet in our quiver (or whatever it is you call the thing where you keep bullets) and that's to elect as many Tea Partiers as possible to Congress and State legislatures so-as to counteract any nefarious or boob-headed intentions either one of the dolts we have to choose from to be President may harbor.
Heh. I'd laugh but its hard to see the screen though my tears. Among 300 million people, this is the best we can offer?
I did not start with this thought in response to your post but given our choices, if Ron Paul promised to follow John Bolton's advice as his VP on foreign affairs maybe we could push him to the top?
For the record Ron Paul was never near the top of my hopes: Palin, Cain, West, Santorum (reluctantly), Gingrich (Pelosi's buddy but with history of positive efficacy), etc.
Hard to believe that Ron Paul may be the best choice. Assuming he's not certifiably insane that is. ;-) PS: I swear before God and country that I have never, ever considered myself a "Paulbot" except that I agree with his views on auditing and dismantling the Fed. Foreign affairs? He's crazy as a loon. FWIW.
If its any consolation, GrouchoMarx is NOT a member...
