Now why would this be? Reuters bleats that new state laws against voter fraud will hurt Obama

Reuters is worried that new tough anti voter fraud laws will hurt Barack Obama’s chances of reelection next November. Complaining that such laws “could” reduce Obama’s supporters by “hundreds of thousands” the media outlet apparently sees no irony in its own position.

Reuters doesn’t feel at all self-conscious about the implication that only fraudulent applicants have to be concerned about these new laws and honest people would not be disadvantaged in the least.

“Republican” led Legislatures

Further exposing its support for voter fraud the media giant cites “Republican-led legislatures” in 12 states as the culprits who are sharply restricting fraudulent voter drives. These “drives” typically provide Democrats with fake poor, young, Black and Hispanic “voters” who support them by big margins.

These new laws require photo identification which is the most potent weapon against Democrat voter fraud. In states such as Florida and Ohio, where honest polls already have Democrat Senatorial candidates trailing by double digits, a photo identification requirement to vote ends any chance Obama or his Democrat running mates have of winning.

Anti voter fraud laws are paying off. Rock the Vote which concentrates on young voters, (who overwhelmingly have photo IDs from school and driver’s licenses anyway), has scaled down its voter registration goal by a third – maybe they KNOW the party is over.

Rock The Vote and the “non partisan” League of Women Voters have both ended their voter registration drives in Florida because the Republican controlled Legislature’s anti voter fraud laws are just too tough to beat.

Florida now demands…. registrations must be submitted to the Board of Elections within 48 hours after they were completed. Failure to comply with this regulation could result in at least a $5,000 fine….

…now amateurs will think twice about running this risk.

So now they’re upset that some people won’t let them cheat?

Anti-Fraud laws don’t reduce the number of “supporters”, they reduce the number of fraudulent votes.

Sort of admitting the obvious, but then what else can we expect from pressclowns?

...such laws “could” reduce Obama’s supporters by “hundreds of thousands”...

Under the Motor Voter Fraud Act, all food stamp recipients are given the opportunity to register to vote when they apply for food stamps. All the DemocRATS need to do is put a photo on the EBT cards and this will solve the Photo ID problem for all of Barry's supporters. With a 70% increase of food stamp recipients since Barry took office, I really don't see a problem here.

Democrats will pass their own voter ID legislation requiring only a death certificate to vote.

I wonder how many Rock the Vote registered had their vote made for
them through the mail.

Who was it that said that the only important thing about elections is who counts the votes?

Voter ID laws are a great start, but until there are significant reforms and controls at precincts where the votes are tallied (and often manipulated), dems will still be able to cheat.

One reform I thought of...there should be blind and simultaneous reporting of precinct results. If all precincts withhold vote counts until ALL precincts report at the same time, dems won’t be able to manufacture the right number of votes to win, as they always seem to do.

The Left is not trying very hard. If 17 year olds can come up with ID’s that fool the bouncer at the clubs, surely those in charge of the bureaucracy at the DMV can generate ID’s that will fool the little old ladies manning the voter polls.

That won’t take care of the absentee ballot problem which I have experienced to see two times in my state swing a Governor and a US Senator from R to D.

I agree...the absentee ballot system needs to be changed as well.

I don’t see a problem with requiring ID verification for absentee ballots—this could be done at the post office or DMV.

It will almost be a war with the dems to change that though.

There was a really good show on FOX last night covering voter fraud.

I get really down on FOX and then they put out something like that and I start trying to climb back on board.

I just wish they would kick the moderates and lefties off the ship.

Imagine the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they have insurance but doesn’t require each to prove they are a citizen...

Years ago, I was a small college assistant football coach...The head coach had me pass out slips to vote for captain and c0-captains....I did and went around and collected them later...I carried hem into his office and he hrew them in the trash and said, “OK, captain is ‘so and so’, and co-captains are ‘so and so’...”

I am afraid our elections could go the same route.....

Ahh so well said! Government requires all have insurance, but you don’t have to show who you are to vote!

I agree that requiring voter IDs will hurt Obama; i.e., reduce the Bamster’s vote totals. Any measure that reduces vote/voter fraud will do the same.
