IDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Benny Gantz said: “Zuhir al-Qaisi and other terrorists killed were involved in planning a deadly terror attack against Israeli civilians, which was suppose to come out of Gaza through Sinai.”

“Over 120 rockets have been fired at Israel and 20% of them could have caused death and distruction within the Israeli populations. They were interceted by the Iron Dome. Some 200,000 Israeli children throughout southern Israel spent Sunday hiding in bomb shelters instead of going to school as Gaza-based Palestinian terrorists continued pouring missiles and mortars into the area.

By midday Sunday, some 130 projectiles had been fired at communities across the western Negev region over a 48-hour period. At least two dozen Israelis have been injured, some seriously.

Israel’s Iron Dome anti-missile system has managed to intercept 28 out of 31 of the more dangerous Grad-type missiles, but simply cannot provide a comprehensive shield against such an onslaught.

120 missiles? What do people think the American people would demand from our government if 120 missiles were fired on us from another country? Israel should flatten Gaza and just say “We tried.”

There is something very important that is missing from the Iron Dome system.

They need to extract the entire cost of this defensive system from the Gazan population!

Fees for the missiles that have to be fired should come out of Gaza tax funds. Israel should extract these fees before handing over any remainder.

If those fees are not sufficient to cover the cost then a tariff must be imposed on Gazan imports to make up the difference.

The miscreants firing the missiles will become far less popular when all Gazans must pay the cost.

They get missiles almost every day. Iron Dome is a necessity for them.

If we were getting missiles upon our apartments and schools the liberals/progressives would be singing another tune. But because Israel does not advance their cause, Israel is besmirched.
