Madison, who's recognized as playing the most significant role in drafting the Constitution, has some of the very most powerful, educational, inspirational, and prophetic quotes of any of our great founders. Most of Madison's famous quotes deal with constitutionally limited government, describing it and justifying it. Reading them causes several bells to go off, because his words illuminate both the "how" and the "why" our government has so drastically bastardized the U.S. Constitution and the founding principles, created to protect us from out-of-control, all-powerful, tyrannical government, which has been the norm throughout history...

Hamilton’s work was just as important as Madison’s. Don’t sell him short or long.
