Why have not any of the conservative GOP candidates come up with a plan to work together to finally win in the struggle against the GOP-e?

At this time, Rick is the only conservative who can beat Willard the Lib.

So Earth to Newt: What are you doing besides handing the nomination to Willard on a silver platter, my friend??

A brokered convention will allow the GOP to install a candidate of their choosing.

We’re not going to have a brokered convention. That’s just the msm’s wet dream. We’re going to have mitt romney as the gop nominee unless newt drops out before super tuesday. Plain and simple.

There is not going to be a brokered convention. And even if there was, it would likely just result in the selection of an establishment candidate (Jeb, Christie, etc).

THIS Post 55 Says It All!   (On the "Brokered Primary Now!" thread...)

Brokered Primary Now! = Secure Conservative Nomination for the GOP Convention

Then use the next 5 months of campaigning to find the best Conservative Nominee.

As the title says:

*1. GOP Needs Brokered Primary Now! (with emphasis on Primary, Now!)
*2. Rick as temp Placekeeper Nominee;
*3. Decide Final Nominee @ Convention

Further...

  1. Good Conservative candidates do NOT need to "drop out". Lot's of work to do.
  2. Make a deal - Support & Vote for Rick as Placekeeper - Secure Nomination for Conservatives; make best decision of actual nominee at the Convention.
The explicit understanding and gentlemen's agreement is that this temporary placekeeper `nominee' is for the purpose to stop the GOP-e candidate(s) here in the primary, and secure the Conservative nomination for the convention.
  3. This is NOT a "loser strategy". This is conservatives showing ourselves, the GOP-e, and the public and the media that we can work together.
  4. We need conservative candidates, leaders, and activists across this country to go into full general election campaign mode NOW! Don't wait for summer or fall.
  5. We need to be sure that the actual GOP nominee has some basic appeal to and support of ALL Americans: independents, moderates, some Dems etc. Therefore...
  6. Let the final decision for the best conservative GOP nominee be a Convention Decision, NOT a Primary election decision. Use the next 5 months of campaigning to the American public to be sure the GOP has the best viable nominee.
  7. I know there are uncertainties about the "Open" Convention. GOP-e (GOP-establishment/elite) Party leaders and delegate selection rules, etc. So...
7a. We are a Republic - We can't be afraid of a convention. 7b. Work together / make a deal, secure the Conservative nomination ASAP! w/ Rick S. 7c. If GOP-e Leaders want to try to strong-arm the convention, well then, too bad for them, the decision is made: The Conservative / Santorum Nomination will be SECURE.
