I'm looking for a link to the study which says that Democrats score lower than Republicans in economics and history. There are a few smug, soi-dissant intellectual liberal friends of mine (like there aren't any other kinds of liberals) who I need to put in their place before I defriend them. Do any of you guys have any links to those particular studies?

You’re wasting your time. They’ll dismiss the studies as biased crap (and they might even be right for once). Just defriend them and be done with it. Then you have time to take a hike, go fishing, have a nice meal, read, or whatever it is that you enjoy doing. Unless you are doing some work for them so you have a reason to send them a bill, they are a waste of time.

This article reminds me of an argument I was having with a good liberal teacher (retired thank God) over Obamacare. When I said something about private insurance, her reply was "I don't have private insurance. My husband has insurance with his company and I am on his."

When I heard that, I knew the whole conversation was pointless. That woman will NEVER get it.
