The Iowa final results were not that important until after the media (cough, cough, Fox News) made it into a "Big Win" for Romney.

Should Santorum have actually won Iowa, how will they spin this?

I heard Santorum on Fox today saying the race still has to be certified yet and it may not be a win for Romney in Iowa. (evil grin....)

There are only a few hundred votes to count in the questioned county. That should take 15 minutes to check. Of course if Santorum won that county will the RNC look for another county to find what mitt needs? If they do how is the RNC any different then the democrats if they cheat?

Doesn't matter. Iowa is ancient history.

Santorum should follow Huntsman's lead and drop out before SC.

Once again the msm is trying to spin the news for their candidate. I have known since the Iowa Caucus there was a discrepancy in the count. If you haven’t read the article in the Washington Post about Newt, worth your time.

If Romney has only won New Hampshire he needs to consider dropping out because he is clearly a regional candidate who only appeals to North Eastern liberals.

Standard Operating Procedure: They will ignore it.

If it does not fit their version of events, just ignore it. The MSM has been doing this to control events for decades.

Doesn’t matter now that the msm has declared him the winner. Doesn’t matter if he got just one vote because the msm is running the show.

Certified count is due Wednesday, and it does appear Santorum edged out Romney by a few votes. As no delegates or other reward is at stake, it’s not likely any more time and money will be spent clarifying discrepancies.

I thought it was already settled by the end of the next day that Santorum actually won Iowa?

This is old news. The MSM had Romney by eight. But no sooner was the headline out that a typo was reported wherein Santorum had 22 votes but only 2 were reported. Thus, the correct result was Santorum by twelve!

But not to matter ... anybody who votes against the right to work needn't be President!!!

If Santorum is certified the winner, let’s see if Grahamesty publicly chances his mind.

When will the official results be made public? I understood it was today (January 18th).
