Not sure about the scientific accuracy, either.

For giant waves to reach Mexico and Central America from the mid-Atlantic, there would have to be a lot of geological evidence on Florida and Cuba and the Caribbean islands.

If it's there, I never heard about it.

Also would like to know more about the Great Flood in England in 1014.

There is a rare weather pattern that blows the North Sea directly up the Thames River with hurricane force winds.

Sounds somewhat similar.

“also found tsunami deposits in the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean that also dated to around 1014 AD”

Around 1014? And what, they rounded it off to 1014? Not 1015 or 1000??

Have you ever heard of a geological deposit being dated to within a single year?

They may as well have said “dated to around the 28th of September, 1014”.

“Thus could there be a predictable cycle of such impacts? Instead of viewing the ancient writings as prophecies could they be closer to forecasts based on a predictable cycle?”

The mention of a cycle interests me. As Earth orbits the Sun so does the Sun orbit the galactic center. Mankind has not been on Earth for an entire cycle of the Sun’s orbit yet.

The author seems not to have familiarity with the liturgical year. Not all feast days have a solid reason behind them...sometimes they are just commemorating an aspect of the faith or a person without historical connection. Sept. 28 is a feast day in honor of St. Michael in the Roman Church, but it was kept on different days elsewhere. It certainly doesn’t have to be grounded in some ancient impact event.

Otherwise though, some interesting info in this article.

928 A.D. Eric the Red sails to Greenland

1010? There may be(?) remains of Celtic forts or settlements including unoffiicial leaked oral reports by New York State Archaeologists of Viking timbers dated 1010, none later either than 1010, unearthed at New Baltimore, NY, approximately 120(?) miles N. of NY City on the Hudson River.

Did this Viking fort get wiped out by the Tsunanmi coming 120 miles up the Hudson River? New Baltimore is on the west bank of the Hudson River where it is split in two by Schodack Island. The NY State archaeologists are trying to do a hush-hush cover-up of this site up as well as the one in Hoosick Falls and others northeast of it in the Lake George/Champlain Valleys, as it would upset their historical agenda. The locals are keeping the locations of these other northern Celtic sites secret to keep the NY State Archies away. All are on private land.

cf. GF Times? or Albany Times-Union articles- do not know the date (2000?

Look at the constellation Hydra in proximity to Virgo, and then look at the Biblical prophecy in Revelation. Hydra is known as the dragon or the serpent. There could be something to it, I’ve long suspected Revelation had several meanings, one of which was astronomical/astrological, dealing with a so-called impact event.
