No, it’s not satire, it’s pure unadulterated bull shiite.

You should clearly post that this is Comedy Central and not a serious Editorial.

colorado tanker said yesterday...

We need to bear in mind there is a reverse operation chaos going on in Iowa. Democrats will be out in force to vote for Paul and try to saddle us with that turkey.

I had to put some thought into that. And he's right. Why else would RoPaul be doing well in Iowa?

Satire? I think not.

He's probably right about the cross-over.

But, using this rationale to label Ron Paul a double-agent for the Democrats is the equivalent of calling Hillary Clinton a double-agent for the Republicans.

As you may remember, Rush Limbaugh promoted crossover voting for her in Operation Chaos in 2008.

Of course there will be cross-over voting in the 2012 Republican Primaries in 2012 where Democrats will be voting in the Republican Primaries and most likely for Ron Paul.

There is nothing wrong with it as conservatives would be doing the exact same thing if there was no action in the Republican Primary and the Democratic Primary was heavily contested.

It’s just politics.

" everything that Ron Paul believes in, the Democrats do believe in.

I'm no fan of Ron Paul but that's just a stupid comment to anyone who can understand basic economics

There are sincere Paul backers, but if agitators want to make trouble joining a controversial candidate for straw polls and caucuses would be an efficient way.

Not all his supporters are far left radicals, but I know he has supporters in those circles.

A lot of his supporters are young New Ager Utopians who don't know anything about anything. They whine about “austerity” and support OWS, while they support a guy who talks about reducing the role and size of government radically.

They are into conspiracy theories (involving Bush and Cheney, corporations, bankers, Illuminati, etc.) and Paul is the only politician who does not discourage these fears and promises to make it all go away.

They trust Democrats more than Republicans (always the villain's in every conspiracy) but that has to do with total ignorance of facts and history dished out by left wing news and re-education sources. They look at Democrats as making “mistakes” and Republicans as the evil geniuses. (haha) Many are super fearful and angry. They walk around in life waiting to get mugged.
