Ron Paul Is a Libertarian Double Agent for the Democratic Party
Indecision Forever Blog ^ | 12/29/2011 | Dennis DiClaudio

Posted on 12/30/2011 11:51:01 AM PST by Responsibility2nd

Highly-conservative former U.S. Navy chaplain Gordon Klingenschmitt has done the leg work. He's connected the dots. He's put two and two together. He's milked the monkey for its simian wisdom. And he's finally willing to make public his shocking discovery:

The Ron Paul campaign is little more than an insidious conspiracy between the libertarians and Democrats — who, as everybody knows, love each other — to take over the Republican Party…

"In Iowa, the only reason Ron Paul is polling so high is because he’s getting crossover votes from the left-wing. And there are people who are trying to sabotage the Republican primary, they want to elect a Democrat, at least in his social conservative policies, Ron Paul is a Democrat, or is a libertarian. He’s anti-church, anti-Christian, anti-Israel, pro-homosexual, pro-marijuana, everything that we don’t believe in, the Democrats do believe in; everything that Ron Paul believes in, the Democrats do believe in.

"I think that’s why they're lining up and they’re trying to make it appear as if in the Republican caucuses in Iowa and in the different places around the country, that Ron Paul actually has some Republican support. I think he doesn’t. Ron Paul does not have any Republican support. Everyone who is a Ron Paul supporter is not a Republican, they are either a Democrat or a libertarian trying to take over the Republican Party."

My God! Now it all makes sense!

So, that's why Ron Paul keeps winning all those Conservative Political Action Conference straw polls. Damn liberal!

No, it’s not satire, it’s pure unadulterated bull shiite.

You should clearly post that this is Comedy Central and not a serious Editorial.

We need to bear in mind there is a reverse operation chaos going on in Iowa. Democrats will be out in force to vote for Paul and try to saddle us with that turkey.

I had to put some thought into that. And he's right. Why else would RoPaul be doing well in Iowa?

Satire? I think not.

He's probably right about the cross-over.

But, using this rationale to label Ron Paul a double-agent for the Democrats is the equivalent of calling Hillary Clinton a double-agent for the Republicans.

As you may remember, Rush Limbaugh promoted crossover voting for her in Operation Chaos in 2008.

Is it? So you think conservatives in Iowa are actually endorsing a nutcase that’s more liberal than Obama?

Sure, the libs at Comedy Central are busting a gut over this. Why not? To have a liberal leading the GOP field? That is hilarious.

But this.... This is what Klingenschmitt wrote yesterday:

Klingenschmitt: ‘Ron Paul Does Not Have Any Republican Support’

Ron Paul is to the left of President Obama on social issues: he wants to legalize marijuana, he wants to support homosexualizing the military and repeal DOMA, the Defense of Marriage Act, he is all about homosexual marriage. This is a man who claims to be a Republican but he’s a RINO, he’s a Republican In Name Only, because Ron Paul is openly a libertarian. He’s not part of the Republican Party, he’s wrong on all the issues that we care about as the church. So, because he’s so far left of even President Obama, he’s gathering support from Democrats.

In Iowa, the only reason Ron Paul is polling so high is because he’s getting crossover votes from the left-wing.

I think that’s why they’re lining up and they’re trying to make it appear as if in the Republican caucuses in Iowa and in the different places around the country, that Ron Paul actually has some Republican support. I think he doesn’t. Ron Paul does not have any Republican support. Everyone who is a Ron Paul supporter is not a Republican, they are either a Democrat or a libertarian trying to take over the Republican Party.

Now. Who can argue with that?

Of course there will be cross-over voting in the 2012 Republican Primaries in 2012 where Democrats will be voting in the Republican Primaries and most likely for Ron Paul.

There is nothing wrong with it as conservatives would be doing the exact same thing if there was no action in the Republican Primary and the Democratic Primary was heavily contested.

It’s just politics.

Call me a “Paultard” if you like. I vote Republican. Lemmings run thin in my blood. I don’t beat hornet’s nests with sticks, but I’m deadly when a hornet attacks. It’s nice to see “liberals” interested in a candidate who advocates “kooky” concepts like smaller government, fiscal responsibility, and government ACCOUNTABILITY. If you think I’m not serious about national defense and national interests, then you’re the kook. Oh, and should your preferred Republican candidate get the nomination, you can rest assured I will not stay at home whimpering in my beer. I will vote for him/her.

I'm no fan of Ron Paul but that's just a stupid comment to anyone who can understand basic economics

The link is to a Byron York piece reporting that according to recent polls barely half of Paul's support is coming from Republicans.

About “reverse operation chaos”...

To participate in the caucus... one has to be a registered voter, and be able to prove residence in the precinct for which your caucus meeting is being held... and those things are going to be checked. While someone could re-register at the caucus, people will do that... and precinct leaders and participants who are skilled in Robert’s Rules can minimize the impacts of their presence by questioning credentials, and county party staffs can be empowered to aggressively deal with disruptors by ruling them out of order in caucus meetings and having law enforcement remove disruptors from meetings if disruptions continue.

There are sincere Paul backers, but if agitators want to make trouble joining a controversial candidate for straw polls and caucuses would be an efficient way.

Not all his supporters are far left radicals, but I know he has supporters in those circles.

A lot of his supporters are young New Ager Utopians who don't know anything about anything. They whine about “austerity” and support OWS, while they support a guy who talks about reducing the role and size of government radically.

They are into conspiracy theories (involving Bush and Cheney, corporations, bankers, Illuminati, etc.) and Paul is the only politician who does not discourage these fears and promises to make it all go away.

They trust Democrats more than Republicans (always the villain's in every conspiracy) but that has to do with total ignorance of facts and history dished out by left wing news and re-education sources. They look at Democrats as making “mistakes” and Republicans as the evil geniuses. (haha) Many are super fearful and angry. They walk around in life waiting to get mugged.
