On January 8 2011, a criminal named Jared Loughner opened fire on a crowd outside a Safeway grocery store in Tucson, Arizona. As a result, six people were killed and many others injured: among them, U.S. Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ).
What happened that day was a crime and a tragedy. And while it reminded sensible, salt-of-the-earth Americans of the need to arm ourselves to protect our families from criminals like Loughner, it has taught the left nothing. This is demonstrated by the fact that they have spent the months since January calling for more gun control while also doing their best to spare Loughner from prosecution because of his mental state.
Moreover, from the moment the shooting happened till now, they have continued to blame it on Sarah Palin. (I have no doubt they would also be blaming Charlton Heston, were he not already in heaven where their machinations cannot harm him.)
But as it is, wimpy leftists like Piers Morgan are still trying to demonstrate that Palin had some culpability in Giffords’ shooting because she had marked certain congressional races with crosshairs on a map to show tea partiers which races needed to be focused on. (To my knowledge, Morgan has yet to say anything about the fact the left was targeting certain conservative congressional districts with bulls-eyes at the same time that Palin was using crosshairs.)
As a matter of fact, just this week—over 11 months since Giffords was shot—Morgan wasted another entire segment of his unwatched show expressing outrage over the fact that Palin has yet to apologize for the fact that Giffords was shot.

Talking to Giffords’ husband, Mark Kelly (who is doing his shameful best to sell books in the wake of his wife’s shooting), Morgan said:
"In her haste to take no responsibility, [Palin] didn’t even bother to pick the phone up, to write, to do anything. I find that extraordinary."
Since when is Palin obligated to call members of congress who face some extraordinary hardship? Even the hint that should she have called demonstrates just how divorced from reality Morgan really is.
By the way, is there any chance Morgan will demand that Jimmy Hoffa Jr. call Republicans and apologize to them once his union thugs “take [those] sons of bitches out”? Or more specifically, would he at least condemn the comedian Titus for saying he’s going to camp out on a “grassy knoll … loaded and ready,” to take Palin out for the sake of his country?
Folks, Morgan has less than ¼ of Sean Hannity’s viewers for a reason (less than 1/20 of Rush Limbaugh’s listeners). But that is no excuse for continuing this ridiculous campaign against Palin.
And Mark Kelly, Giffords’ husband, ought to be ashamed of himself for playing along with Morgan.
I am just as amazed with Piers that Sarah Palin stopped beating her husband.

Calling to apologize would be tantamount to admitting is was her fault. Calling to extend condolences might be appropriate, but unless they knew each other personally, Sarah was under no obligation to do that.
For the moment she is not even a factor in anything. But they just can’t pass up an opportunity to slime her.
Sarah Palin is totally innocent of anything to do with these shootings. Repeating a lie does not make it true.
She has nothing to apologize for. But this confirms that Morgan lives within the Liberal bubble. This bubble is so thick, that even when the MSM’s ratings continue to spiral down, they cannot figure out why.

What’s the fuss all about??? The Giffords book is now #63 on the Amazon.com book site after just 17 days in the “100 bestsellers” list. A truly horrible showing!! The meaning, no one cares about Piers Morgan, no one watches his show, no one gives one hoot about “Dirt Bag” Mike Kelly and.....Gabby Giffords should resign from Congress and let someone else do the job she no longer can do, because some crazed, insane, lunatic disabled her from serving effectively. It is a crime and tragedy that this happened to Ms. Giffords and other innocents but reality needs to rule the day. Ms. Giffords should retire and do the absolute best she can to recover and live a fruitful, happy and productive life!!! As for Kelly, he is a disgrace to NASA, to his country and most of all to his injured wife. Kelly, a true, cold hearted Obamabot if there ever was one!!!
Apologize for what!? Nothing more annoying than a foreigner like Piers sticking his nose into American affairs. Muslims riot in your city and Islam continues to take over your country yet you worry about Sarah? Plz.
