-for 'destroying the Soviet Empire'

A handsome, stylized 'park bench' monument dedicated to Cold War victor Ronald Reagan was unveiled in the former Soviet republic of Georgia yesterday. The country's pro-Western, American-educated president Mikhail Saakashvili proclaimed that the work 'deserves a place in the heart of Tblisi' as he and his countrymen seek to honor Reagan for 'destroying the Soviet empire'. He also took the opportunity to lament what he sees as Vladimir Putin's attempts to restore that lost empire.

Meanwhile in Poland, a new Reagan statue was erected along a tree-lined avenue near the US Embassy earlier this monthWhile the current party-of-power in Warsaw are the Socialists,  all Poles know that without the Pope and Ronald ReaganSolidarity would have been promptly crushed.

Nobody more aware than Lech Walesa, who noted at the ceremony 'Thirty years ago, defeating communism did not seem possible without a nuclear war', adding it's 'inconceivable' for the changes that did come about (peacefully) to have occurred without the blessing of a Ronald Reagan presidency...

Alas, a harsh contrast is provided by the way prog vermin in our own country vandalized a Reagan bronze in Newport Beach, California (also this month).

What vile, embittered ingrates some people have become in this ludicrous Obammunist era...

Some city council members there have offered-up a $5000 reward themselves for info leading to the scum that did it.
Me, I would boil them in oil... but happy to report that the sculpture's already been sent back to the metal foundry for repairs to the damaged base.

Georgians had to start removing their beloved Stalin statues first.

“While the current party-of-power in Warsaw are the Socialists” ...WRONG . There are several political parties in Poland; Socialist,Comunist,Democrat,Liberal...parties have maybe 25% in parlament. But there are two main parties PO (civic platform) and PIS (law and order) One of them is conservative and the other one is more conservative. ha ha

PO are a center left party, and in fact called the “socialists” on English language broadcasts and news sites

And the current PM is from this party, as they lead the coalition -thus in power, no?
