A Pew Research Center poll of Republican, Democrat and Independent voters released Thursday shows former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney leading the field of Republican presidential nominees. The poll results suggest that Romney is benefiting from Texas Gov. Rick Perrys debate gaffe last week and the sexual harrassment allegations against pizza magnate Herman Cain.
The poll, conducted by Washington D.C. based Pew Research Center, revealed that Cain is neck and neck with Romney. The Pew poll gave Romney 23 percent of the votes and Cain 22 percent of the votes. However, the survey focused primarily on the head to head match ups between President Barack Obama and the eventual Republican presidential nominee. Obama holds a slight advantage over Romney at 49 to 47 percent, and a 49 to 42 percent advantage over Perry and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich. The other candidates, including Minnesota Rep Michele Bachmann and former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman were not ranked in head to head match ups with Obama.
The Pew Research Center poll also showed that the majority of Obama supporters continue to be younger voters and non-whites. However, voters broke even when it came to Obamas job approval rating, as 46 percent disapprove and 46 percent approve of the job he is doing as president.
Romney also led his fellow candidates in a USC Dornsife/Los Angeles Times poll of California Republican primary voters released Wednesday.
The Pew Research Center poll was conducted between November 9th and November 14th among 2,001 adults, including 1,576 registered voters. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percent.

Wheres the breakdown for conservatives ???
He doesn’t lead Obama with me. They’re about neck-and-neck I’d say.
Who cares? They’re both dreadful.
The Republican socialist is more dangerous than a Democrat one, because they are more stealth about it.
You’re welcome. It took me forever to space that one chart.
It’s a snapshot.
Look over the PDF at the LINK in the article.
I will not vote for evil, period.

RINO Romney will always be just a trailer trailer
Read my lips, “NO ROMNEY”.......NEVER, NEVER, NEVER!!!!
If it means another term for Obama, so be it....that’s why we need to make sure we get the Senate and the House.
Who did they poll, the OWS protesters? I’m positive even Daffy Duck could beat our present traveler-in-chief.
Why would anyone vote for Obamalooon Lite (RINOmney) when they could get the full fledged cretin for only a couple of dollars more?
Funny .gif
RINO Romney has Ann Coulter`s vote but that`s about it.
Romney, if the nominee, will go down in history as the guy who broke the GOP party and laid the seeds for the new Classical Liberal Party.
Pew poll is properly named.
I will take Gingrich, Cain, Bachman, Santorum, before Romney. But no one ahould trail Obama.

It was not easy to find, but I found the actual numbers attached to one of their questions. It looks like they are trying to pick our candidates for us (again).

Indeed. I may have to vote Constitution Party or Libertarian if Slick Mitt gets the GOP nomination.
