I was talking with a young man about his experience in Iraq and said I was of a different era the Vietnam War and we had the likes of Jane Fonda. He was did not have a clue as to Jane Fonda was and what she had done. This video I did several years ago very short yet conveys the feelings of many vets from my era with a little humor.

All who served honorably deserve respect and gratitude.
11 November will always be Armistice Day to me, so as to not lose sight of the history of the largely forgotten Great War that sprang from the heights of unwise, callous and infirm leadership, was absolutely devastating in human cost and was ultimately one of the most predictable precursors to the next world war.
By referring to it always as Armistice Day I hope to perhaps have even the tiniest effect of provoking prudent thought.
