"Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" is a novel, not a short story.

The only parts of "Blade Runner" based in the novel are some character names, and the implied nuclear war / ecodisaster aftermath scenario.

Someone around FR (I think it was) mentioned rumors about this, and it seemed like a lousy idea at that time. Seems even worse now.
