Yup. If the media in this country was competent in the least, this administration would be held accountable for these actions.
Unfortunately, they are content to cover for Democrats no matter what.
This scandle makes Watergate pale in comparison. When was the last time a scandle involving several government agencies and politicians led to the deaths of a police officer and several hundred foreign nationals for the sake of trying to do an end run around Congress?
The really sad part is, even though they got caught red handed, is that they are going to get away with it.

The point, of course, is that it isnt remotely cost-effective for cartels to buy these weapons in the U.S. It is if the US taxpayer is picking up the tab. They don't get much cheaper than free.

The media won’t admit it, its always summed up as a crime control sting “gone bad”. On a number of talk shows when the purposeful gun-control angle comes up, its always dismissed as “militia type talk”. “Our government wouldn’t do something like that!”

In January of 2011, ATF whistleblowers came forward and exposed the multi-agency plot, a conspiracy that involved the Departments of Justice, Homeland Security, Treasury, and State. More than 2,020 firearms had been walked from gun shops acting under orders from ATF agents through a network of straw purchasers known to the Department of Justice to the Sinaloa drug cartel in Mexico. Were captured weapons from the ME also 'walked' to Mexico?
