Michelle Obama will be a published author in April, when a book about her White House garden is released, Crown Publishing Group announced on Monday.
The first lady’s book, “American Grown: How the White House Kitchen Garden Inspires Families, Schools and Communities” will be available on April 10, 2012, the publisher said.
In the hardcover book, Obama — who launched a childhood obesity initiative in 2010 — will discuss how “increased access to healthy, affordable food can promote better eating habits and improve health of families and communities across America,” according to a press release sent from the publishing house on Monday.
“American Grown is the perfect title for a book in which the first lady will celebrate the benefits of American community, school, and urban gardens and of healthy nutritious food for our nation’s families and communities,” Maya Mavjee, the president and publisher of Crown Publishing Group, said in the release.

You can’t make this stuff up: Our ice cream lapping, burger/frenchfry/pizza chomping fat-assed worst lady is “writing” a book on healthy eating using the vegetables she “grew”.
She wrote a book? Yeah, right. I bet she’s never even read a book.
She better keep her “cotton pickers” off my Snickers bar.
