Jump on board the Cain Train!!!! First poll showing Cain beating Obama!
Rasmussen Reports! ^ | 10/17/2011 | Scott Rasmussen

Posted on 10/17/2011 10:11:13 AM PDT by LesDowrey

Whether Herman Cain’s surge in the polls is temporary or has staying power, he’s enjoying a big enough bounce to take a very slight lead over President Obama in a hypothetical 2012 matchup. At the moment, the Georgia businessman is the only Republican with a lead of any kind over Obama, although former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney has held a similar advantage several times and is currently trailing the president by just two points.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely U.S. Voters shows Cain attracting 43% support, while Obama earns 41%.

I donated $50 to Cain yesterday. Nothing to Romney, Nothing to Perry. All my money from this point forward is going to Cain.

Has anyone vetted Cain thoroughly? The MSM seems to be leaving him alone (as opposed to the colonoscopy they performed on Palin). Are they holding back “high cards” to smash Cain AFTER he wins the nomination. After all, as a black CONSERVATIVE the media probably can’t abide the notion of someone who has “wandered off the liberal plantation”. (As Herman “I left the plantation a long time ago” Cain has said).

To be sure, there are reasons to avoid Cain, but what I would like to see in a poll is this:

1. Favor Obama

2. Favor damn near anybody else.

Let's see the results of that poll.

I thought that it was the perfect locomotive. NYC 999. Class: American. First US locomotive to exceed 100 MPH. Currently preserved at Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.

Can you imagine going 100 MPH in that thing?

You have to remember that back then the capitalists not government ran the US passenger rail system. The tracks of the NYC were manicured daily to ensure smooth running. Because if you didn't run smooth you lost passengers to the Pennsylvania who was more than happy to compete for the almighty dollar by offering better service and quicker times. Thank God Amtrak got rid of all that nasty capitalism and competition. /sarc
