Good analysis. The GOP establishment, the MSM and Romney operators are all attacking Perry from every direction -- it should give people a clue: Perry is the one Romney and Obama are most afraid of.

I can’t imagine why Cain would have been endorsing anybody “last time around”.. Not many people had even heard of Cain back then.

Good analysis? This may well be the stupidest article in the history of the internet. This article holds more BS than WJC’s wedding vows.

Obamney needs to be defeated early in the primaries.

Romney agrees with Obama on:
1. Global warming.
2. Obamney care.
3. Elitism. Both Harvard people.
4. Questionable theology.
5. Abortion. But of course that changes from day to day.
6. Gun control. But that too changes from day to day.
7. Bank bailouts.
8. They both know Obama will take him out in a debate.

Romney will never never carry the south. The middle ground will be taken away after the liberal media shows his flip flops and the “nuances” of Mormonism.

But, If Romney gets the nomination it will be the first time we have a guy running that thinks he is going to be a God versus one that already thinks he is one.

Pure make believe without a shred of a hint of rational thought to it.

Who got in the race last after it was clear Romney was not going to get any appreciable support from social conservatives?

Who did the GOP Establishment push into the race after it seem Tea Party heroine Bachmann was going to upset Romney’s ride to the nomination?

Who does the GOP Establishment see as their back up card if Romney fails?

Who has long standing intimate ties with the Liberal wing of the GOP Establishment?

The answer is Rick Perry.

Bill Kristol to a NY Time Reporter telling him how the GOP Establishment plans to deal with “the Tea party mutiny”

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2792217/posts?page=3

Kristol told me just after Perry entered the race, a development that essentially ended [the more radical Michele] Bachmann’s brief ascent. Establishment Republicans may prefer Romney to Perry, but their assumption is that either man can be counted on to steer the party back toward the broad center next fall, effectively disarming the Tea Party mutiny.

Wonder who Perry will be VP with?

Odd how that question never gets asked of Perry.

Could it be because everyone knows Perry is the GOP Establishment mole in the race to split the Tea Party/Conservative vote and hand the nomination to Romney?

Could it be because they know the ticket the GOP Machine is setting up is “Romney/Perry 2012? Think about it. Romney has the money, Perry has the idolatrous worship from the social Conservatives.

Could that be why the Perry camp is knowingly lying about Cain’s solidly Conservative record on both social and fiscal issues? Because they know full well Perry’s record can not stand close scrutiny?

What does anyone really know about Perry other then the nice words and platitudes he puts in his speeches? Looks like Perry is just Bush 3.0 another tough talking social conservative who will go to DC and be yet another good little GOP crony capitalist water boy.

Unlike you, I have provided you with a documented source showing Perry's ties to the GOP Establishment.

I like Perry on guns.

The others are murky at best.

Perry seems to be alone on the 2ndA.

I would like to see Mr. Cain( and the others) with a handgun. Mr. Cain you could shoot mine, if you weren’t ascared of them.

Cain seems to be a hoplophobe, bless its heart.

Perry was encouraged to run by the "Establishment Republicans" to diminish Bachmann.

If Perry decided to hit the books a little harder during college and didn’t sound like another Dubya, we wouldn’t even be having this discussion. Perry did this to himself and others just rose from the vacuum.

The MSM are pushing Romney and attacking Perry. They are not attacking Cain as much because they don’t feel he can really win.

Romney has had a big boost from the Republican establishment, which decided a while back he's the serious candidate with a chance of beating President Obama.

Some boost. Mittens is still under 30% no matter how hard they spin. The bigger issue is the fact that Perry is consistently underwhelming in all events he is involved in. This guy needs to turn up the heat and get this thing done. What is he waiting for?

Ever heard of Ms. Joann Fleming she is a Tea Party Coalition Leader and has let Perry know that he has unfinished business on sanctuary city bill in TX,the press conference was on Thursday. He is getting attacked by Tea Party conservatives for his long trail of Hispandeering politics and do-nothingisms on illegal immigration.

It's not the Establishment Republicans that have declared war on Rick Perry; it's conservatives that have declared war on him.

As Bill Kristol said, while Establishment Republicans would be happier with Romney, they are fine with Perry because they know he won't let the party become “too conservative.”
