I’ve decided to perform a public service myself by highlighting the tragedy of OWS. Accordingly, I’m dedicating today’s post to the People of Occupy Wall Street (POWS). They’ll tell you in their own words how they came to be part of the 99%. A portion of all proceeds from today’s post will be donated to the 501(c)(9) charity, Graduates With Severe Economic Disorders. You can read their complete stories on the People of Occupy Wall Street website, where I’m betting you can make a donation too.

I don't give a rat's behind how many degrees in "political science", or "wymyns' studies", or similar drivel you have.

WELLL ... there's your problem, right there. Worthless degree, deep in debt.

The question answers itself.
Pull the ring out of your nose, study something useful, see if you can get a temporary job to help pay for college.
I am no longer annoyed that my eldest Son did not complete school or go to University. He left School at 15 and did some really awful jobs -Mushoom Farm, Chicken Farm, Plastic Welder, Cabinet fitter - he then bought a house, sold it for $70K profit and went and studied for a year - now he is managing a highend boutique winery and food place and his prospects are amazing on 50k plus a year with a car. He is now 28 and has not been without a job for longer than a couple of weeks in 13 years.
College or University is not what it’s cracked up to be unless you study to go into a proper profession. Better to get a job, work hard and not load yourself down with debt.

2 Plus Decades ago, we were in another recession and recent college grads couldn’t get jobs even at fast food places.
One of our younger relatives with a hard core engineering degree combined with business project management had no problem getting a job nor did his peers.
I asked him what was going on and his reply, “The unemployed grads have instant unemployment degrees that will ensure unemployment for the rest of their lives!”
He got into the feel good degrees re female/minority rights/history or whatever. The social degrees and other degrees that didn’t prepare people for life.
He was right then and now. We know many overly colleged idiots with 2-4 degrees still living with their parents or on some type of welfare. They would be the first in line re these protests, particuliarly if they got paid for doing it.
I can remember asking these idiots what they were going to do with their worthless degrees, most just stared at me. A few who were more honest said that they would get a PHD in their worthless degree and then spew that stuff in a college/university. Their goal was a phd and tenure in college for their worthless degrees.
