On Monday evening it was learned that US Attorney General Eric Holder lied to a congressional committee while testifying about his knowledge of the Obama Regime's Operation Fast and Furious "Gunwalking" scandal.
Memos from Department of Justice operatives directed to Holder himself leave no doubt that the DOJ was receiving constant updates on the Operation as early as mid 2010.
During his May 3rd testimony before the Grassley/Issa Congressional Committee, Holder was asked when he had first learned of Operation Fats and Furious. "I'm not sure of the exact date, but I probably heard about Fast and Fruious for the first time over the last few weeks," Holder responded.
But that was a lie. Documents detailing the existence and progress of Fast and Furious were directed to Holder by Michael F. Walther, the head of the National Drug Intelligence Center and by his own Assistant AG, Lanny Breuer in 2010.
A heavily redacted July 5th, 2010 memo from Walther to Holder details the work of the Phoenix Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) working in conjunction with the ATF on Operation Fast and Furious. And this was a weekly report"!
And a November 2010 memorandum from assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer to Holder further updates Fast and Furious, even reporting current indictments and the number of firearms already known to have "walked" across the Mexican border.
So it is an undeniable fact that Eric Holder has committed perjury. And no excuse that the Operation had simply slipped his mind is likely to work, except of course with the always supportive and understanding mainstream media.
.consequences for a Republican Attorney General, had he lied so blatantly and deliberately
.. But will Holder lose his job over his perjured testimony?...

I’m not holding my breath.
No doubt about it. The operation was illegal on its face.
It should cost Holder his job (and his freedom as he should probably be jailed if he perjured himself) and it should cost 0bama his job if not now but definitely in 2012.
There was more than just perjury, here. There are numerous losses of life.
The LSM has so effectively blocked this out there will be no repercussions for anyone involved at the top.
Also, no matter how much this may be brought up during the election it will go nowhere since most people will not have read/seen anything about it and will surmise it is just “politics.”
I love the smell of diesel engines running in a bus headed down Penn ave in the morning!
Probable phone call tonight:
This is Obama, your president speaking Eric. Time to go. Jamie Gerrilek will be over to replace you in the morning.
Eric: But sir, you recall that meeting we held in your office where you said the idea was to run that second amendment out of town.
Zero: I did not tell you to break the law to do it. Anyway, report to the unemployment line 9AM on the dot tomorrow. Click.
Gun running, fraud, conspiracy, murder, undermining the Constitution, perjury and creating anarchy are hardly serious enough crimes to warrant punishing Democrats.
If it weren't for double standards the left wouldn't have any at all
Job?
He should go to jail and should be permanently disbarred.
You have a local paper. Have you sent an email to opinions to tell them yours? My paper is the Bangor Daily News. I have sent two dozen and have yet to get into the paper. My little smile is that some liberal had to read it and know it to be true, and then flush it.
Should it? Of course.
Will it? Of course not.
Criminal activity is a resume enhancement in this administration.
It should be called:
Walkergate
Not a chance.
For Holder there is RESUME ENHANCEMENT.
Supreme Court?
World Bank?
The US Congress should commit ritual suicide
for what they have ignored FOR YEARS.
What does that matter to a 21st century democrat? It’s only power that matters.
Bbbut — But— BUT eric Holder said America was a nations of cowards. If he is not IMPEACHED and prosecuted I will be forced to admit we are a nation of cowards.
