New leaked information has indicated that United States Attorney General Eric Holder, was in fact of the operation known as Fast and Furious. Holder testified that he had only heard of the operation "recently."
FoxNews is reporting that Holder was personally identified as being informed of the plan at least twice. One report, from 2010, states that Holder was informed of the plan. This new information premiered just minutes ago on Fox's Special Report with Bret Baier.
If true, this would show that the Department of Justice was far more involved in the operation than it previously admitted. With more revelations spilling out regarding the case, Holder's duplicity could either point to gross incompetence or a cover-up. Both are unbecoming to his office.

Can he be arrested for perjury, if he makes false PUBLIC statements, or only if made "under Oathe"?

WASHINGTON - New documents obtained by CBS News show Attorney General Eric Holder was sent briefings on the controversial Fast and Furious guns operation as far back as July of 2010. That directly contradicts his statement to Congress.
On May 3, 2011, Holder told a Judiciary Committee hearing, “I’m not sure of the exact date, but I probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks.”

If he was simply sent documents, and not personal briefings, he’s say my staff didn’t report it to me.
Of course he was. The DOJ and US Attorney’s office have to approve these operations and this one was big enough that it went all the way to the top.
An American citizen and US GOV’T employee died as a result of this fiasco. If Holder knew and lied to Congress, I call it TREASON, not perjury. If Obama can assasinate US citizens without benefit of a trial, we should demand he do the same to Holder as he did to Al Awaki
I would tend to say that any hard copies have been destroyed but with the incompetence of this administration, maybe not.

Toughskis for Holder. Obama will cut him loose. Nixon stood by his loser subordinates, even though he didn’t know about Watergate in advance, and that was what brought him down. On the other hand, Holder will be marched off to jail and Bambi will be pure as the driven snow.
I am waiting for a special prosecutor. I am waiting for the pubs to get out and about and demand an investigation. I bite fingernails that our guy last election, McCain, get in front of those cameras he adores and rant that an innocent border guard was killed by a Mexican drug criminal with a gun WE provided him.
