John Kerry can trace his roots to John Winthrop and has a net worth of $239 million. His wife, Teresa, is worth a cool billion which she inherited from her first husband, H. John Heinz 3rd.
Pajamas Media notes that they did not pay a penny in taxes on the $4.8 million they earned last year.
Kerry, of course, is the progressive-leftist Democrat senator from Massachusetts who was the Democrat candidate for president in 2004 and was the darling of progressive leftists everywhere.

Why?
Rich liberals push to raise taxes on “the rich” and then do everything in their power (hiring the best accountants and tax lawyers) to avoid paying taxes. Absolutely contemptible. Pay as little as you can in taxes. Good for you. Keep the money in the private economy. But be straight and consistent about it and work for lower taxes and spending.
"Under questioning from the Committee, Kerry referred to the democratically elected government of South Vietnam -- our allies -- as a "dictatorial regime, the Thieu-Ky-Khiem regime," while respectfully calling the North Vietnamese communist regime we were fighting by its oxymoronic official name, the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, and the murderous Viet Cong's political arm by their preferred "Provisional Revolutionary Government.":

June, 1970 -- Kerry joins Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW), a national veterans group that is part of the Peoples Coalition for Peace and Justice. The PCPJ is a broad coalition of local and national organizations, including the Communist Party, USA, "committed to conducting demonstrations aimed at ending the war in Indochina, and poverty, racism and injustice at home." The VVAW, CCI and PCPJ all have headquarters at 156 Fifth Avenue in New York City. VVAW Executive Secretary Al Hubbard, a former Black Panther, is also on the coordinating committee of the PCPJ. Hubbard soon appoints Kerry to the VVAW's Executive Committee, bypassing the normal election process.

Fact: The Black Panthers were revolutionary communists...
From the Maoist Internationist Movement:
[1960s/original] Black Panther Party [BPP] Archives
From the article: REVOLUTIONARY HEROS
"On May 1st, May Day [1969], the day of the gigantic Free Huey rally, two of Alioto's top executioners vamped on the brothers from the Brown Community who were attending to their own affairs. These brothers, who are endowed with the revolutionary spirit of the Black Panther Party defended themselves from the racist pig gestapo [i.e., the police].
Pig Joseph Brodnik received his just reward with a big hole in the chest. Pig Paul McGoran got his in the mouth which was not quite enough to off him.
The revolutionary brothers escaped the huge swarm of pigs with dogs, mace, tanks and helicopters, proving once again that "the spirit of the people is greater than the man's technology."
To these brothers the revolutionary people of racist America want to say, by your revolutionary deed you are heroes, and that you are always welcome to our camp."

November 22, 1970 -- During a fund-raising tour for GI deserters, Vietnam Veterans Against the War and the Black Panthers, Jane Fonda is quoted in the Detroit Free Press as telling a University of Michigan audience:
"I would think that if you understood what communism was, you would hope, you would pray on your knees that we would someday become communist," and "The peace proposal of the Viet Cong is the only honorable, just, possible way to achieve peace in Vietnam."

John Kerry and the VVAW--Hanoi's American Puppets?
"Two recently discovered documents captured from the Vietnamese communists during the Vietnam War strongly support the contention that a close link existed between the Hanoi regime and the Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW) while John Kerry served as the group's leading national spokesman."

JOHN KERRY BEING HONORED, BY COMMUNISTS, FOR HIS CONTRIBUTION TO THEIR VICTORY OVER UNITED STATES
Source for both:

"Shortly after taking office in 1985, Kerry and Senator Tom Harkin of Iowa went on a fact-finding trip to Nicaragua, where they met with Daniel Ortega (right) and other Sandinistas. The trip was criticized when the Sandinistas cemented ties with Moscow."

We keep calling them hypocrites but they are worse than that. They want to bring back the monarchy with themselves as the monarchs.
Sorry, the only thing I got out of this is some people have money.
Some people have blogs.
Didn’t John Kerry serve in VietNam??
Kerry and his rich friends need all the exposure we can give them.
Kids just now entering the voting age need to know what
they have been spoon fed in school is whitewashed communism
and since the 0media are also spoon fed they will not report the truth
in anything.
EXPOSURE anyway possible before they take over the internet freedom
last line of defense for real Americans.
The article’s statement that Kerry didn’t pay taxes on his income is somewhat misleading. It is a disservice to the credibility of PajamasMedia.
I was incredulous about this because the relative magnitudes of the numbers cited in the article seemed amiss. John Fn’ Kerry certainly had investment income greater than $4 million on his 1.2 billion net worth. If one bothers to check out the report linked by the article, it’s obvious that the $4 million is derived from tax-exempt municipal bonds. There is absolutely nothing wrong about availing oneself to the tax exemption from interest paid on municipal bonds, even if it is done by a weasel like John Fn’ Kerry.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with pointing out that a guy who thinks people don't pay enough in taxes didn't pay a penny on $4 million in income.
Nothing prevents Kerry from making non-tax exempt investments. If he was a real patriot he would GM's bonds, right?
At least according to Kerry.
BINGO!
Oh yeah and from what I hear, he had a medal he threw over a fence
for some strange reason.
On the other hand, the Democratic party is the party of the poor, it is in their best interest for as many people as possible to be poor and dependent upon the government.
“There is absolutely nothing wrong about availing oneself to the tax exemption from interest paid on municipal bonds, even if it is done by a weasel like John Fn Kerry.”
Ah, you mean the tax-exempt-municipal-bond loophole?
he had a medal he threw over a fence
for some strange reason.

I think it was determined a while back that he did, in fact, throw (some) a medal over the fence, just not quite sure who’s it was.
The ‘reason’ being - it was more electable at the time to take that approach.....
Years later he decided it was good for his ‘resume’ for having served in VN.....
Hence, the cause of my bumper sticker —
“I was a “proud” Vietnam Vet before it was fashionable”.
The wording is over a VNSM with ‘proud’ interjected between a and Vietnam.
How the hell is this arrogant commie dork worth $230 million? What job has he ever held besides being a Senator which pays maybe a quarter mill a year? Did Tuh-Ray-Zuh give Poodle Boy THAT much of an allowance?
