Chris Wallace proves he's MSNBC Material

During the day long infomercial for Mitt Romney that is Fox News, I caught several appearances by Chris Wallace conducting damage control after the can of Whoop-ass Newt Gingrich opened upon him in last night’s GOP debate.

His political pundit colleagues were helping to prop him up by agreeing that his now infamous question was perfectly legitimate. They are all contending that asking Gingrich what he “has to say to people who say” that his “campaign is a disaster” – was not a “gotcha question”.

Wallace has a track record of insulting candidates he apparently dislikes by superficially framing his insults in the form of a question posed by generic people he fails to specifically identify beyond a group. His intent is transparent in the way that... (continued)

I just heaar a moron on Fox News say that Newt was “whining” and he asked Brett B “what kind of responsible journalist would NOT ask that question?”

That was a freaking DEBATE - NOT an interview. That might have been legit if it were a an interview on Wallace’s SHOW. These pundits are unmitigated, unprofessional imbeciles.

Gingrich showed some spunk. But, as that old commie Lou Grant observed: Lou- You got spunk. Mary- Oh. Lou- I HATE SPUNK!

Chris Wallace was a complete ass last night as were the rest of the questioners. As someone on here suggested last night...WHY don’t they have actual Conservatives ask the questions that CONSERVATIVE voters would like to hear??? How about Rush, Hannity and any number of other conservatives asking the questions? I turned it off last night because the whole forum was a joke! Fox News should be ashamed of the way it was run!! I got sick of hearing about it all day too!

I want to see Rush, Levin and Hannity asking the questions in one of the debates. Rat and RINO moderators/questioners are more interested in how they ‘look’ and ‘gotcha’ than in asking probing questions, with followups, of the candidates. The country is falling apart and they're more interested in gay marriage and abortion type questions. Enough.

Well, all I have to say is that other people have said that Chris Wallace is a backbiting, no-talent, guttersnipe, National Enquirer reject, he’s got all the mental agility of a small soap dish, and if fashion law were ever enforced he’d face a life sentence with no hope of parole.

That’s what I’ve heard and I believe Wallace needs to respond to these important questions that have been raised about him.

After Newt gave him a well-deserved whuppin’, Wallace was fuming like the spoiled kid he is.

Actually, I thought the question York asked Michelle was outrageous “Will you submit to your husband?” I turned it off after that one.

OK Newt won. I want to see a real debate. Pick a couple of subjects and spend an hour or two debating them. What we have now is a multi-person news conference. There is no debate.

Honestly, I really don’t have much use for FNC after that performance by Wallace last night. And the fact that they keep trotting out people to defend Wallace just makes me madder. Stephen Hayes was defending him on Special Report earlier.

York may have done her and us a favor though. You know that would come up in the general and the media would make a huge deal of it.

OK Newt won.

About as meaningful as the Dallas Cowboys winning their first pre-season game.

I hope you heard her response before you did, as it was a very good one.
