Sure the famous "Morning in America" ad is actually from Reagan's 1984 re-elections campaign Of course it was, and the point of the ad was that Reagan's first four years brought us back from the Carter nightmare and it was "morning in America" again.
A 'morning in America' campaign would be a stupid first term campaign theme. It would imply that things have already turned around.

the belief that America is a great nation - that American’s are good God-fearing people.
