I don’t have a lot of sympathy for the lawsuit, name of the day is pretty offensive. Did the school sanction or encourage the day? A lawsuit seems like swatting a gnat with a sledgehammer, but is there anyone holding the flyswatter willing to use it?

What white kids go to school in suits and when did suits and shined shoes become attire associated specifically with whites?

When I see kids at predominately white schools, they are wearing flip flops, tennis shoes, untucked t-shirts, blue jeans, gym shorts, gothic attire, black rocker t-shirts, etc.

I figure that if black kids did as you suggest, they would wear shirts with images of fish on them, gothic attire, neck ties with blue jeans and short sleeves, western shirts with tight jeans, etc. while repeating the word “dude” over and over.
